Michael Eberhardt Biography

A Pacific Northwest Native, Michael started drawing at the age of three, but unlike most people, he hasn’t stopped since. He was doing realistic portraits by the time he was six and was always encouraged to pursue his artistic talents throughout his youth. Michael attended a few different art schools before eventually graduating with honors at The Art Institute of Seattle. Michael has travelled extensively throughout the world. He enjoys painting while he travels and when he returns home to his beautiful art studio in the Pacific Northwest.

"I feel extremely grateful that I am able to make a living doing what I love; and when it comes to work and play, there really isn’t much of a distinction between the two for me."

His paintings have won numerous awards including the Pike Place Market 95th Anniversary poster.

The more Michael paints, the more he sees life like a painting; rich in color, light and texture, with an added depth and dimension. He truly enjoys transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary through painting, while seeing life in a variety of lights, literally and figuratively. One of Michael’s main objectives is to help the viewer feel good and to  bring them happiness. On that note.....ENJOY!
